Introduction of Ticketing Service Fee for International Ticket
Effective from 1st October, 2009, the Japan Airlines Group has implemented a ticketing service fee for international ticket transactions (exchange and re-issue)carried out at Japan Airlines Reservations Centers and Ticketing and Airport Counters in China (including Hong Kong and Macau) and Asia Region.
The fee is 2,000 Yen (exchange to each local currency) for transactions made at the Reservations Center and 4,000 Yen (exchange to each local currency) for transactions made at the ticketing or Airport Counters.
The Ticketing Service Fee is not applicable for ticket purchases made through the Japan Airlines home page, JAL Mileage Bank award tickets, and tickets for infants not occupying the seat.
*Ticketing Service Fee applies per ticket (For the purchase of several tickets, Ticketing Service Fee applies to each ticket.)
*The Ticketing Service Fee for child's fare is the same amount.
*Ticketing Service Fee applies to exchange or reissue of tickets in addition to any rebooking fee required by fare rule of the tickets.
*Ticketing Service Fee is not refundable.
