The prohibitions of carry -on "Matches and Lighters" from China
In accordance with the notice from the Chinese Authority, effective April 7, 2008, matches and lighters in carry-on baggage to international and domestic aircraft departing from China (exclusive of Hong Kong) are under the ban strictly. These items are prohibited when carried as checked baggage, too.
Please note that matches and lighters must be confiscated at security checkpoint.
It would be taken a longer time required for security checkpoint inspections than usual, so please come to the airport early before enough time to the departure.
